Community Outreach Activities include:

MIHS provides assistance through Comprehensive Emergency Assistance System (CEAS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LI-HEAP). Services provided are emergency food, mortgage and rent assistance, rental security assistance and utility assistance.

Transportation is provided to seniors during nontraditional hours, by special arrangement. Twenty-four hour notice is requested for doctor appointments and shopping trips. Transportation is provided for others, too, such as Summer Mini-Camp and the Learning Center.

Our service networking system provides information and referral for all ages, gender, race and religious background.
  • Case Management and Counseling
