February Function Features Family and Frames

 

 

Ginny Lee Elvins Macri was the featured speaker at the HSH February community meeting at the Atlantic County Library, Egg Harbor Road. She covered the story of her family's involvement in early Hammonton with candor, humor and much insight. The lively question and answer period that followed indicated the full house was delighted with her presentation.

Reminiscing over scenes of people and places they once knew, are Marie Perrone and Evelyn Penza. Many members enjoyed viewing Ginny Lee's family photo album and her tidbits of Hammonton history.




Grayce Pitera, ShowHouse Co-Coordinator, unfolding exactly what a Designer ShowHouse entails. She explained the interaction of the designers, owners and HSH. Without the design team, there is no ShowHouse. Then, the volunteer team, she said, becomes the hearbeat of the finished project. It is the lifeline that keeps the vistors coming back and the ShowHouse a success.
Kristin Colosurda, 2006 ShowHouse Co-Coordinator, announcing the 2006 HSH Invitational Designer ShowHouse choice: the Circa 1800 historic Cogley House at 404 Bellevue Avenue to be open to the public in the fall. She also outlined the funding plans for the venture as well as the those for the House kick off event, The Gala in the Park.
