Emily Fogg Meade was a pioneer in sociology and the mother of Margaret Meade. Emily came to Hammonton to conduct a study on behalf of the Department of Labor and resided here for some time. This material deals with Italian immigration in New Jersey and particularly to the Hammonton area. Copies are still available through the Historical Society of Hammonton for a donation of $6.00.
